The New Hampshire Annual Real Estate Report – 2012 indicates a sharp increase in the number of homes sold and a stabilization in average selling prices. The data compares the transactions for homes sold, year over year, for the past three years as reported in the NH MLS.
The number of homes sold in New Hampshire in 2012 increased 21% over 2011 from 10,722 to 12,962. 2012 sales transactions also surpassed homes sold in 2010.
New Hampshire Average Selling Price
The average selling price for single family homes in New Hampshire remained stable with a slight increase from $244,770 in 2011 to $245,415 in 2012. Home values , historically low interest rates and consumer confidence contributed to the rebound in the NH real estate market.
